ROYAL PARK FLATS REFURBISHMENT

In the summer 2011 Urbane Design was asked to carry out a feasibility and design study for a partial refurbishment of this site by Unipol Student Homes. This work was fully completed in 2012.

The existing building comprising of 112 study bedrooms arranged in cluster flats will be fully overhauled in 2012 with new windows, curtain walling, fire system, lighting and the re-design of the dated bathroom areas. Bespoke leak-free shower pods by Taplanes were incorporated within the design of the bathrooms and the ventilation to the whole building was upgraded.
